Marketing and Design Fail: Bank Islam Logo

Let me take you guys down to memory lane, I think most of you never noticed it in the first place but here’s an interesting story.
A few years back, Bank Islam Malaysia decided to do a corporate rebranding to look more modern and appeal to more consumers.
They did a logo redesign and changed their logo from this:

The Star published an article on 26 Nov 2010 which says that the government plans to introduce a new law to curb online downloading of music and movies.
The law is the ISP (Internet Service Provider) Liability Act, which makes the ISPs responsible for stopping online piracy by sending warning letters to illegal downloaders and as a last resort, suspending or terminating their internet access.

Maxis finally brings us the long awaited HTC HD7!
It will be available from 26 November with a starting price of RM1399(12 months contract) or RM1699(12 months contract). The original MRSP is RM2399.
